The studio
Hi, I'm Kelsey.
I sew quilts, personalized name pennants, banners and keepsakes, one at a time, in Tallassee, Alabama.
The couch that started it all
It started with a sectional. I borrowed my Nanny's sewing machine to reupholster it myself, and the whole thing was a disaster. Genuinely, a mess. But instead of giving up on sewing, I pivoted to making pillows, and that was that. I was hooked.
From there it turned into party decorations, seasonal decorations, and what I'd call just-for-fun decorations, things to bring joy into our regular routine. Not every piece has to be for a big occasion. A banner for an ordinary Tuesday is just as much the point.
I'm intentional about each step in hopes that it will last a lifetime and can be passed down generations. — Kelsey
What I work with
My fabric weakness is anything by Tula Pink, Riley Blake Designs or Ruby Star Society, gingham, stripes and florals are what I reach for most. Every piece is made by hand, start to finish, by one person: me.
I keep a few ready-made pieces of everything in stock, and I take custom orders for the rest, names, sizes, and colours built around your space.
Sewn with purpose. Rooted in faith.
